E. ORMOND MCMULLEN

(American, 1880-1963)

E. Ormond McMullen was an esteemed oil painter and watercolorist exhibiting widely through the 1930s and 40s alongside such luminary peers as Edward Hopper, Ivan Le Lorraine Albright, Andrew Wyeth, and George Bellows. He was a member and frequent exhibitor with the most prominent art associations of the day, such as The American Watercolor Society (a lifetime member), The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, The Salmagundi Club, The Silvermine Arts Guild and The New York Watercolor Club, among others. Mr. McMullen worked primarily in New York City and its environs.
